This is the sound of an inland vessel on river rhine, near mannheim, germany. You can hear the rhythmic and fluctuating vibrations of the diesel engine. Seems to be an older one. Unfortunately i oriented my zoom h2n wrongly (90° to the right). So most of the noise appears on the left ear.

Recorded with a zoom h1 in a cabin on the ferry scottish viking between nynäshamn and ventspils. The geotag could be a bit wrong.

Sounds like a 50's b-movie of a space ship flying. This is an example of digital signal processing since this was created from recordings of random household objects in a studio.

This is the back of my fridge, with some filters applied to it. Sounds like some kind of space-ship ambient. I might be able to record a longer version of this. If you want it, request it in the comments.

A creaking a breaking ship in the rain and wind of a storm.

This is a sound i made in audacity. I just used a sawtooth tone and just changed the pitches at the beginning and end. Added some reverb and bass.

A space-ship laser firing sound with a retro-y 8-bit effect. My work, feel free to use in any way however you'd like. To make this, i used a synth in cubase to get the basic laser sound, then exported to garageband where i applied and tweaked the bitcrusher effect to give it the 8-bit effect.

All my sounds were created for an upcoming motioncomic i created called: madagascar: alex's story. . . I did not create these from scratch, but instead, remixed stock sounds of different soundscapes.
